Out of Egypt I Called My Son & Daughter

A conversation between Trai & Keege Elliott, guests; and Devaughn Williamson, host.

This powerful deliverance testimony from Trai & Keege Elliot is a testament of God’s saving grace and power. Before surrendering their lives to Christ, they both led lifestyles that only led to despair and destruction. But God restored them both and uses their story as a testament that Jesus still saves the uttermost and can redeem what seems broken.

Trai, once in bondage to homesexuality, addiction, and deeply-rooted generational curses found himself searching for purpose in all the wrong places. On the other hand, Keege was dreaming of making money and becoming wealthy at any cost. She engaged in sugar-daddy relationships which was simply a disguised form of prostitution. In addition, she battled severe addiction to weed and alcohol. Her pursuit of riches and wealth led her into a cycle of sexual slavery which left her feeling hopeless and lost.

They both hit a breaking point where they realized that their pursuits were only leading them to death - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Keege’s addiction got so bad that she found herself drinking Hennessy for breakfast, and contemplating suicide. Trai found himself controlled by lust and brokenness which was a clear sign to him that he was losing his soul. But in their darkest moments, Jesus saves them!

On January 7th, 2018, Trai surrendered his life to Christ which allowed him to step into a journey of sanctification which led him out of bondage from homesexuality and into purpose. Keege, after realizing that she had tried everything except Jesus, gave Him her life. Over time, their desires began to change. Their hunger for wealth was replaced by the hunger for righteousness. They both experienced the transformative power of God in their lives.

Today, Trai and Keege have dedicated their lives to ministering the Gospel of Christ in hopes they can help others find freedom and purpose. They have both committed to sharing their testimonies knowing that their past no longer defines them but only Christ does. Their lives are living proof that no matter how deep the pit, God’s love and grace is much deeper.

The road to freedom wasn’t instant or easy. Trai shared that he battled with addiction for about two years before fully breaking free.

In those moments, the enemy whispered lies trying to convince him that transformation was impossible. But instead of listening, he clung to the Word of God which became his anchor. In addition, Keege encouraged Trai to share his full testimony and no longer sugarcoat it by not highlighting the reality of his past homesexual struggles. Together, Trai and Keege realized that true deliverance comes not just in leaving Egypt but in learning to live in the freedom Christ offers.

From that point on, they both live everyday as a conscious decision to follow Jesus. They understood that choosing Christ was not a one-time decision but a daily battle and surrender. To help with it, they embraced the disciple of reading the Word daily, worshipping, and rehearsing their victories rather than their failures. They began to view their testimony as a weapon against the enemy instead of a source of shame.

Trai has used his experience to write his first book titled “Out of Egypt I Called My Son”. The cover of the book tells the story of a man that was once silenced by Egypt and is now blooming with life because of Christ. Through it all, Keege stands beside him as a testament to God’s redemptive power.

If you ever wondered if you could experience freedom from lust, addiction, generational curses, etc, the answer is YES. Simply because Jesus saves! In him, you can experience true freedom from any addiction or bondage. The Elliots’ are living proof!
